How long will your bulbs last?
Our bulbs are designed to out-last your car. When tested, an average of 2500-3000 hours was given as the life of our bulbs.
Are these HID light systems street legal?
NAO XENON HID conversion kit available from any source is DOT approved if installed outside of the factory. Moreover, in the U.S, this is not street legal for use on public roads. As a result, we officially endorse the kit for exhibition and off-road use and will only sell the kit to be used for these purposes. We are not responsible for buyers who violate the terms of sale while in which they will assume all responsibilities for any unauthorized or unintended use other than exhibition or off-road use.
Why do I have to purchase the whole kit? Why can't I just order the HID bulbs?
Cars use a 12 Volt Electrical System for their headlights. HID systems use over 20,000 volts to ignite our bulbs. For this process to work, with out kits we include ballasts, which allow the HID bulbs to run without a problem. These ballasts are taking in all the necessary energy to keep the HID bulbs running longer than your automobile.
Wouldn't it be better for me to purchase a halogen bulb with higher voltage, instead of buying HID bulbs?
HID lamps are 35 watts, while standard halogen bulbs are 55 watts. Although, HID lamps work with fewer watts, they still produce 3x more light. The halogen lamp with an increase in wattage will make the light brighter, but will still be dimmer than the HID lamps.

How to make sure the HID kit will work properly every time?
Tips: 1, turn on the engine first, before turn on the HID kit. 2, don't turn the HID on and off frequently. 3 don't install the HID ballasts and igniters near the engine nor anywhere can the water easily get onto. 4 make sure the connectors of the HID kit are tightened to the stock harness. One or both light can't ignite initially. Bulb turns off after the vehicle just starts. Inspection Procedure: You MUST DISABLE Daytime Running Light or ""Auto Switch-On"" functions before the HID installation, please click here for more information. HID system requires a steady level of battery voltage of at least 12V initially. ““Auto Switch-On”“and Daytime Running Light functions draw power from the vehicle battery which causes the HID system to fail to initially ignite. If you have Daytime Running Light, disconnect the fuse or wiring of Daytime Running lights only. Please contact your vehicle dealer/manufacturer for more information. If you have ""Auto Switch-On"" Headlight function, ensure to switch the function to ""Manual Switch-On"" headlight mode.

Can I still use High Beams?
For Single Beam Conversion Kit, it replaces the Low-beam bulbs OR High-beams operational on most vehicles. Some vehicles use the same bulb for Hi and Lo beams (H4, 9004, 9007 Types). For these vehicles you will lose the ability to use your high beams OR Low-beams. Normally you will not need high beams after HID installed as Low-beams, as the light output is nearly 3 times the regular halogen output. If you like to keep Hi/Lo beams, please choose the kit with Hi/Lo Beams.
Will installing these lights void my car warranty?
No it will not void car warranty. This has been tested in the Supreme Court and SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) has written legal opinions on the matter.
Could I re-install the original halogen bulbs after the Xenon Kit is installed?
Yes and the xenon kit can be reinstalled on a different vehicle.
Can I install this kit myself?
For those that are mechanically inclined this is an easy installation and should take 20-40 minutes. These kits are ready to install out of box and come with everything you will need. Simple and illustrated installation instructions are included. |
