Please see back of the box for diagram schematic reference for proper installation.
-
Turn off the power of your vehicle and remove the original light bulb. Replace the fuse with the 20A fuse that comes with the package.
-
Turn on the power and confirm the position and the functionality of both polarities (positive and negative) of the power connector with a voltmeter. * If the power connector of your vehicle has been oxidized or corroded due to a long-term usage, please clean or do any necessary replacement to ensure good contact.
-
Disconnect the battery. Assemble the connection wire, the ballast (stabilizer), the igniter, and the light bulb according to the installation schematics provided. *Avoid contacting the light bulb with bare hand, place the light bulb horizontally and safely, and keep the wire of the light bulb well separate from the metallic vehicle body to avoid leakage of voltage.
-
Confirm proper connections and assembly. Turn on the power to start the light bulb with a cold ignition. Leave it lit to 10 minutes for the metal halide compound to stabilize, and then start the light bulb with hot ignition once every second to check for the lighting up procedure and for any leakage. If functioning properly, the light should be constant.
-
Turn off the power. Insert the light bulb into the headlamp housing firmly and cautiously. Avoid collisions of the bulb and the housing and insert gently. Place the sealing pad back to the original position. *Make sure that the metallic piece of the light bulb does not touch the light shield. Leaving the light bulb in contact or too close to the shield will cause severe voltage leakage and the light bulb will fail to be ignited. You may adjust the light shield forward as needed.
-
Please install the ballast in places with good heat dissipation, away from the engine and other heat sources. Fix it into place with fixture provided. The high voltage silicon wires leading from the igniter to the light bulb needs to be insulated with the protective silicon host provided. The igniter should be fixed firmly in place. Make a final - round check of the connections and notes of caution.
Turn on the power. The lamp should light up steadily if installation is completed properly. |

| PRE-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS |
|
we highly advise professional installation
- Check the headlight housings to ensure they are not damaged.
- Make sure the vehicle does not have any pre-existing electrical problems.
- The vehicle must have a pre-existing 12V NEGATIVE ground system.
- Vehicles with a single fuse for both lights must have a fuse at least 30 amp.
- If there is one fuse per headlight, each fuse must be at least 20 amps.
- Before attaching the power adapter, identify the ballast's positive and negative wires. The positive wires are white. Negative wires are black.
- Never touch any bulb with your bare hands. If touched accidentally, use alcohol to clean the surface.
- Before connecting the wires and harness, you must clean all connectors, especially the AMP connector. Make sure the installation is in A DUST FREE condition. If the installation is not completely DUST FREE, and bulbs or ballast are defective after the attempted installation, they are not covered by the warranty due to installation error.
- Once the headlights are installed, start the engine and turn on the lights. You should leave the lights on for at least five (15) minutes to ensure that the burn-in process is complete.
-
Due to the occurrence of high voltage, please make sure the connections among the ballast, the igniter, and the light bulb are properly insulated and packed when installing the HID lamp.
-
Do not look into the light directly when the HID is lit up to avoid visual hazards.
-
Avoid contact with the light bulb while it is lit or has just been extinguished to prevent burning by its high temperature.
Please do not install the ballast, the igniter, and the connection wires close to the engine or places where water may penetrate to avoid any overheating or leakage, causing the shortening or malfunctioning of the components. After installation and testing, make sure that the ballast and the igniter are fixed firmly in place. Depending on the space available, tie the wires in small bundles with cable ties in an orderly manner. Avoid simply knitting or bundling all of the wires together to prevent degradation.

| Troubleshooting |
|
Problem: - In many cases, especially for those cars that have Auto "ON" or Daytime Running Lights; one or both light cannot Ignite Initially, Discharge Bulb turns off after just start the car, or even sometimes, bulb just turns off when driving.
- Damage:
Fried ballast, internally damage or burn the discharge bulb Gas Capsule.
- Solution:
You MUST Disconnect the Daytime Running Light or Auto Switch ON function immediately before the actual HID Conversion. Due to the Steady levels of battery voltage is required at 12V or Plus before the initial Ignites of each HID Systems; you must prohibit the less voltage draw of car battery at HID s start time. Daytime Running Light is 7V or less power output, and auto switch on headlight is always turn on seconds right before the car to start the ignition to charge the battery, which means Battery is focus on charging the ignition and waiting for alternator to recharge it back to 12V. Therefore, in both situations, battery is drawing much less power than 12V to initially ignite the HID headlight. Please perform the following:
- if you have Daytime Running Light please follow your car s service manual; disconnect the fuse or wiring of Daytime Running lights only.
- If you have Auto Switch On Headlights, please switch the function to Manual Switch On headlights. To avoid further damages, always remember to start your engine before turn on the HID system!
Problem: - Just Installed the HID system a few weeks ago, everything works out fine with system. But lately, the one or both Discharge Bulbs are began to flickering when starts!
-
Damage: Fried ballast, damaged bulb, and multiple internal wiring damages.
-
Solution: Disconnect all the connectors immediately. Clean every connector with alcohol. Wait more than 5 minutes (reset ballast Safety Stages Chip) then reconnect or reinstall every connector. Then check all the connection between ballast and factory harness (Power Source); check all the connection between igniters and bulbs (yellow silicone connectors); check your upgraded fuse, they must be 20amp minimum. Remember, every connector has to be 100% well connected to each other. Do not loss mating or mis-wiring any connections.
Problem: - Melted plastic burned onto the HID bulb, staining it.
-
Damage: Potential heat spot could cause the bulb to melt, crack, or explode.
-
Solution: Do not touch the bulb at any time, especially when it is hot.
Problem: - Bubble created by melted glass from a high wattage (100W) bulb.

|
★Do not touch glass part of the bulb with your hands during installation. |
|

|
★When installing HID Xenon Lamp, you should place the ballast in a drafty area to dissipate heat. Do not place the ballast near the engine or fan which will give off a lot of heat. If the ballast temperature goes up to 105 degrees, the over heat protection will automatically shut off the power.
★During installation please make sure that you have a good ground for the negative, please ensure it is grounded to metal .A poor ground will cause the HID light to flicker.
★Avoid scratching the bulb when you install it, don’t touch the glass part of the bulb with your bare hands.
★Please ensure all connections e.g. the plug in of the lights socket, the positive and negative of the power are well connected, Fail to do some will result in performance shortfall.
★When you adjust the bulb, please don’t let the end of the bulb touch the inner glare shield of the headlamp assembly.
★Any connections make directly to the battery, should go thru safety check before connecting power..
★In any case, please don’t disassemble or modify the system, All warranty will be void if you do so and we will not be responsible for any mishap that occurs.
★In case of replace or repair is needed, please seek help from the nearest professional shop. |
|

|
★In order to ensure safety, Installation of the system should be performed after engine is totally cool down.
★You must disconnect the power source before you install it.
★Before you install it, please ensure the vehicle is in the neutral or park position.
★Please be careful, as the output of the ballast will produce high voltage.
★Do not touch the bulbs after it is turn on to prevent scalded.
★Don’t gazes straight into the light when you turn on the headlamp, it will hurt your eyes.
★Don’t put the HID system near any combustible goods, such as papers, oil, spray, diluents etc.
★Don’t adjust the level of the beams too high, it will severely effect the safety operation of other drivers.

|
★Be careful of the bulb breakage during installation process. |
|
1. Genernal installation step: Easy installation in general goes like 1-2-3-done as described below. Step 1: After disconnecting power to the two headlamps and after removing the bulb access covers of the low beam, high beam or both bulb access covers, drill a small hole in the removed cover. The HID-Xenon bulb wire is passed through this hole for your headlamp upgrade. On the wire is a supplied adjustable tight rubber waterproof grommet to be fitted into the hole. Next, the HID-Xenon bulb is fitted into the headlamp's base and locked into position via the factory locking device. No cutting of wiring is required on the installation. |
| |
 |
Step 2:Reinstall the access panel and close it.Secure the small ballast to a convenient location in the motorbay.
|
 |
Step 3: Finally attach power to the headlamp in the normal manner and the upgrade is completed. Headlamp realignment is recommended but only required if you have removed the headlamp during the upgrade which sometimes can be avoided (model and side dependant).
It takes about 1-2hours to complete the installation. No special tools are required. Normal handtools only.
|
|
BONUS: Each upgrade kit is easily reversible or transferable! When you decide to sell your car , it will only take a few moments to reverse the installation and re-install your original halogen bulbs as they were before. You can either sell the HID upgrade system or re-install it on your next car with same or different bulb setup. All you need to do is seal the small hole on the bulb access cover and you are done. |
 |
When installation, if the socket is metal, you should check the diameter of the installation hole first and see whether it is too small, if the diameter is less 12mm, the hole should be filed larger. When burnished, the socket opening should be downward and file the hole from inner to outer which can avoid the metal debris from falling into the headlight assembly. |
 |
When installation, if the socket is plastic, first of all check the installation hole size and see whether there is a notch under the hole, if not, a new notch should be open by small file so as to make sure there is a enough room for putting into the bulb body as well as the ceramic annulations. When burnished, the socket opening should be downward and file the hole from inner to outer which can avoid the plastic debris from falling into the headlight assembly. |
 |
When installation, if the lamp assembly comes with plastic waterproof cover. Drill a 23 mm hole and thread the wire through, seal the hole with sealant this will provide water proof to the system. |
 |
When installing H4 (H/L), if the bulb’s tip touches the light cap in the assembly, the cap may be removed to prevent the Hi/Lo feature of the bulb from function normally. Removing the cap will not affect the light assembly’s focus point. |
 |
After completing installation, if astigmatism occurs, please ensure the bulb sit in the socket correctly. And make sure you are using the right bulb for the application because the bulbs are not interchangeable and it will short the life span of the bulb if installed incorrectly. | |
